The art of Cataloguing
If I had a coin for every time someone insisted the amount of bibliographic product is more important than the quality of that product, I’d have a respectable fortune. In addition, I would possess a list of people who do not understand what proper cataloguing truly entails. Without mincing words, it is the axis of the library sciences. It not only highlights a book’s vital identifiers, title, author, and date of publication; it also serves to place it in a much broader context than the world in which it was born.
